A canned sardines and seafood brand of Century Pacific Food Inc. (CNPF), launched in 1983 when economic disruption cut off imported sardines to the Philippines. CNPF founder Ricardo S. Po Sr. chose the name 555 for instant recall, inspired by a British cigarette brand. It became CNPF's first home-grown brand and remains one of the most recognised sardines labels in the Philippines, ranking third in market share behind Mega and Young's Town.
