Founded in 1935 in Galicia by Victor Pita Iglesias, with the Cuca brand registered in 1936 and named after the nickname of the founder's daughter Leonor. Built on sardines, clams, mussels, and razor clams from the Galician rias, hand-cleaned and hand-packed without preservatives. Acquired by Bolton Group in 2011. Currently operates two plants in Galicia producing a full range of Galician seafood conservas.
