A cooperative of fishermen based in Viana do Castelo on the northern Minho coast, Vianapesca brings together over 400 vessels, most of them artisanal. The cooperative handles the commercial side of their catch and operates its own canning line under the Vianapesca label. One of the few canneries in Portugal where the fishing and the preserving are done by the same community.
